Delay first night of Golf?

I know that we have had an extended run of cold weather. If you are like me, you are anxious to get out and start playing, but the cold, rain, snow, etc. has kept us from doing so.

Linn & I will be in Chicago next week and will not be able to attend the opening night.

For those two reasons, I am wondering if we should delay the start until April 30th? That would give us all time to get our clubs out from behind the snow blower and perhaps hit a bucket.

Please let me know your thoughts.
